Can I really practice on a backyard green through the Seattle winter?

Yes — that is the whole point. A synthetic green drains immediately and never gets soggy, muddy, or frozen-out the way a natural green does. While area courses are waterlogged from October to spring, your green is ready to putt on minutes after the rain stops.

How fast will the green roll, and can I choose the speed?

We build greens to roll true and consistent, and we tune green speed (Stimp) to your preference by selecting the fiber, pile height, and infill. Want a quick tournament-style green or a slightly slower, more forgiving one? We dial it in during design.

Can you add breaks, fringe, chipping areas, and multiple cups?

Absolutely. Every green is custom-designed. We shape undulations and breaks into the base, add a contrasting fringe collar, build in chipping and fringe approach areas, and set as many cups as your space allows so you can practice a real variety of putts.

How much does a backyard putting green cost in the Greater Seattle Area?

Greens are priced by size and complexity, and typically run a bit higher per square foot than a flat lawn — often in the range of roughly $16–$25 per square foot — because of the precision base shaping, contouring, and cup work. We give a firm quote after a design consult, and financing is available.

How much maintenance does a putting green need?

Very little. An occasional brushing keeps the roll true and the surface clean, and a rinse clears any debris. There is no mowing, no top-dressing, no aeration, and no irrigation — just consistent practice surface, year after year.
